Your Eye Health, Beyond the Clinic
Healing happens at home too. Simple daily habits in nutrition and wellbeing can make a real difference for your eyes — and your spirit.
🍎 Nutrition for Your Eyes
🍎 Eat the Rainbow
Dark leafy greens like sukuma wiki, carrots, and mangoes are packed with vitamins that protect your eyes. Try adding colour to every meal.
🍎 Stay Hydrated
Drinking enough water keeps your eyes moist and comfortable. Aim for at least 8 glasses a day — your eyes will thank you.
🍎 Eggs & Fish Matter
Omega-3 from fish like tilapia and nutrients in eggs support the back of your eye. Even small portions make a difference.
Every bite of goodness brings your eyes closer to health. Keep going! 💛
🌿 Wellbeing & Comfort
🌿 Rest Your Eyes
Every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds. This simple habit reduces strain and keeps your vision comfortable.
🌿 It's Okay to Feel
Eye health challenges can feel overwhelming. Talk to someone you trust — your feelings are valid, and support is always near.
🌿 Move Your Body
A short walk in fresh air improves blood flow to your eyes and lifts your mood. Even 10 minutes helps.
You are stronger than you know. One step at a time, one day at a time. 🌟

Track Your Goals🚨 Emergency? Know What to Do
In an emergency, every second matters. These simple steps can help you stay calm, act fast, and protect the people you love.
Act Fast: Sudden Vision Loss
- 1.Stay calm — sit or lie down safely.
- 2.Do not rub or press on your eye.
- 3.Cover the affected eye gently with a clean cloth.
- 4.Call your eye doctor or go to the nearest hospital immediately.
- 5.If possible, have someone drive you — do not drive yourself.
You are doing the right thing by acting quickly. Help is on the way. 💛
Eye Injury: What to Do Now
- 1.Do not touch, rub, or try to remove anything from the eye.
- 2.If a chemical splashed in, rinse the eye gently with clean water for 15 minutes.
- 3.For cuts or objects stuck in the eye — cover it with a paper cup or shield, not a cloth.
- 4.Go to the nearest hospital or eye clinic right away.
- 5.Bring any container of the chemical if a splash occurred.
You're protecting your sight by staying calm and seeking help. You've got this. 🙏
Stroke Signs: Act F.A.S.T.
- 1.Face — Ask them to smile. Does one side droop?
- 2.Arms — Ask them to raise both arms. Does one drift down?
- 3.Speech — Ask them to repeat a simple phrase. Is it slurred?
- 4.Time — If you see any of these signs, call 999 or rush to the hospital immediately.
- 5.Note the time the symptoms started — doctors will need this.
Your quick action can save a life. Every second counts, and you are already helping. 🌟
Cardiac Arrest: Save a Life
- 1.Check if the person is responsive — tap and shout their name.
- 2.If no response, call 999 immediately or ask someone nearby to call.
- 3.Place the person on a firm, flat surface.
- 4.Push hard and fast in the centre of the chest — about 100–120 pushes per minute.
- 5.Keep going until help arrives. You are their lifeline.
You don't need to be a doctor to save a life. Your hands and your courage are enough. ❤️
